Emergency Relief & Humanitarian Aid
Local & Coordinated International Response · Fort Worth, TX & Beyond.
Population served: Individuals and families affected by crisis, disaster, displacement, or acute hardship
When disaster strikes, families don't have weeks to wait for help.
A house fire. A flood. A sudden medical crisis. A family arriving in a new community with nothing. In moments like these, what matters is whether anyone shows up — and how quickly.
Humanitarian Action of Hope's Emergency Relief program is built for exactly these moments. We provide food, water, clothing, hygiene kits, and temporary shelter resources to individuals and families affected by crisis, disaster, or acute hardship — prioritizing rapid response to underserved populations in the Fort Worth area, while coordinating with partners to extend aid to communities in greatest need both domestically and internationally.
The need is real:
1 in 8 Texas households experiences food insecurity
Texas leads the U.S. in disaster declarations year after year
The first 72 hours after a crisis often determine whether a family recovers or unravels
What your gift makes possible:
$25 provides emergency food supplies for a family of four for one week
$50 funds a hygiene kit and basic clothing for someone displaced
$100 contributes to temporary shelter resources for a family in transition
$250 helps fund our rapid-response capacity to be ready before the next crisis
Why this matters:
Emergency relief isn't glamorous. It rarely makes headlines. But for the family receiving it, it's the difference between staying together and falling apart. Your gift means HAH can show up — fast — when people need help most.
